Hey yall, i know i havent done shit in terms of getting stuff done for my gallery. i cant write Union of two powers, because of the notebook i wrote the story in, is back home in belgium, and i cant write without it.

im currently working on a new story, it revolves around guild wars, and two of my characters from the game, who i have paired together, currently the story is still in the works, a friend of mine approved me to write more therefore i will continue it. its just been difficult getting inspired. im currently on work placement, working at a company called Blitz who hire out and test equipment for shows like theatre or Corporate gigs, our college also gets equipment from them. its ok, ive met a few idustry professionals, ive played with a lot of equipment so its not half bad, but i cant say im completely enjoying it. but heck i need to do it, and ive learnt a great deal. but thats pretty much it.

for those of you guyz who still watch me, sorry for the massive absence. college has really eaten my time up, so did my ex girl friend. but thats a story never to be told. so yeah im back on the writing. i know i kinda left the story in rather awkward place, but im gonna pick it up, as an update, im currently working helping out in a summer school, its a paid job, its all right, im designing the lighting for a show, so im currently working on that. the writing is slow, ive made some characters and im having a lil hard time developing them. but its getting there, hopefully this thing will finish cuz im starting to come up with new plotlines that may never end. but im trying.

Im gonna be 2nd year at college, gonna lead teams, do massive amounts of work. shud keep me dead busy, but ill try and update as much as i can. thanks guyz for keeping the support, ill do my best. cheers

LAMDA SMTT (stage management and technical theatre) students are now going into a 3 Show Rep (haing three shows going on at the same time.) for this rotation i am on the Construction and later stage crew. we need to build 3 sets. one of them is a train compartment. another with couple of coloured Flats, and finally the musical one...that we aint got a clue abt, cuz the designer and director still haent worked out the details, which doesnt really help us much. another thing, one of the plays called Recruiting Officer has to go on a tour to Turin in Italy. so we had to make the set so it could be transported. and i gotta admit, while the gate legs look kinda weak, they hold the set pretty damn well. after each show, we gotta do a turn around, which means that we gotta change the set ready for the net performance. as of now according to the list our HOD has drawn up, we are ahead of schedule, which is great, cuz it shows that we are working well and fast. een the tutor was a lil shocked, he asked us to be a lil less efficent,g a gud jb and iting like that, u know ur doing a gud jb and its something the entire team is really proud of. howeer, working at the workshop means im outta bed at 6 am, to start at 8 am. we work hard and fast until 6 pm, and then go home. that really kills ur schedule, cuz u get home tired, hae some dinner attempt to work and then fall asleep, my social life is pretty much dead.

FINALLY!!! got chapter 4 done. damn it, its been pissing me off like hell, just cuz its been sitting around and not being done. then again college has pretty much eaten into my free time, but i will try to get chapter 5 done now.

London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art are gonna put on a Musical called Can Can, its a show based around the dance known as the Can Can. those of u who take dance, will know wat it is and wat it symbolizses. the show is based around 1831 (if im not mistaken) in Paris France. the court is trying to get the Can Can Banned. a Rich man went into the red light areas in paris and witnessed the Can Can and fell in love with one of the dancers. the conflict of his love against his up bringing.(or something like that)

so wats this have to do with me?? i am a 1st year Stage Management and Technical Theatre Student. as such the 20 of us in this class (10 males, 10 females, even we cudnt believe it at first), have been divided up into different departments. 5 of us in LX (lighting), 6 on crew, 2 on sound, 2 in stage management and 4 in different shows (i know this doesnt add up to 20, but im trying to rmbr whose in wat). I am in the LX dept. we have a Massive Rig, over 20 moving lights, 2 follow spots, lots of specials. we've got a shitload of work ahead of us, and im really looking forward to it. this is the biggest show ive done to date. and im really trying to put in as mush effort as i can to serve the play. our team is great, with people ive never worked with before (cuz they were usually in different grp to mine) so im looking forward to working with them.
